Hi, I’m Ben — Benjutsu_7 to most of you. Let me give you a quick overview of my art path.

I’m old enough to remember a time without social media and technology. These were the days I’d fill with episodes of Dragon Ball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh! I fell in love with anime, and that’s what pushed me toward art. I loved the characters in those shows so much that I’d do my best to recreate them, and from then on I spent most of my spare time drawing. As I grew older, I continued the journey through school and further education in the UK.

Eventually, in my later teen years, I drifted away from the art scene as other things in life took over. Fast forward ten years and I fell in love with drawing all over again — this time digitally, having to start over in 2018–2019. That’s when I started my social media account, more for fun than anything. I’d describe my style as simple: clean linework with a focus on foreshortening and perspective where possible.

A couple of years later, destiny came knocking in the form of the creator Johku. Little did I know at that point what a whirlwind adventure I was in for.

And the rest is history.
